If you could choose to live in one era other than today, when would it be and why?
I really don't know. Maybe the Reconstruction era, right after the Civil War, but I don't know.

What is a Bible verse (or verses) that has particularly challenged and/or encouraged you lately?

Jeremiah 9:23-24 Thus says the LORD, "Let not the wise man boast of his wisdom, and let not the mighty man boast of his might, let not the rich man boast of his riches; but let him who boasts boast of this, that he understands and knows Me, that I am the LORD who exercises lovingkindness, justice and righteousness on earth; for I delight in these things," declares the LORD.

Do you prefer hot chocolate, tea or coffee or none of these?
I like all three, but coffee is my favorite :)

What is your favorite musical instrument?
That's too hard so I'll say my favorite three. ;) Piano, violin, and flute. I think. It's really hard to choose!

If you were to write and publish a book/direct a movie, what would you call it and what would it be about?

I might do a retelling of the Princess and the Pea - That's also what I'd call it ;)
What is your favorite subject/hobby/pastime?
My favorite subject is science and I love to draw or read to pass the time.

Do you think you are an introvert or an extrovert or a mixture of both?
I'm both. I'm really shy around large groups of people or people I don't know very well and am really outgoing at home and around close friends.

What is a name you really like?
Ella/Elinor

Is there a book you once read which you couldn't put down until you had finished it?

There have been lots, but the Cooper Kids Series by Frank Peretti pretty much had a cliff hanger at each chapter ending so I read those really fast.

Do you have a favorite hymn and why is it your favorite?
Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing, I love the words and the tune... It's just one of my favorites.

Is there some way that the Lord has been working in your life recently that you want to share?
Being more disciplined with myself and making sure I take the time to read my Bible.

Quote of the Day

I don't play accurately - any one can play accurately - but I play with wonderful expression. As far as the piano is concerned, sentiment is my forte.

How to steal a piece cake

Another good way is to pull a "Dr. Smith" (from Lost in Space) in which you cut a cake into thirds, remove the entire middle, and push the ends back together. ;)

What I've Been Up To

OK, I haven't posted anything in a long time so I'll try to post a bunch of stuff at once now. (Which as usual is more pictures than actual words ;)
First off, we had our plays about three weeks ago, and they were amazingly fun! :D

The Pride and Prejudice cast.
Alice in Wonderland

My aunt and cousin came in from out of state to see the plays, and while they were here I made my cousin, Addy, a dress. I felt so proud that I made it all by myself. :) The pictures are from Easter after they went home.

Isn't she adorable?

Then last week, my sister took me to her Senior prom. We went in a big group with a mob of friends.

I'm on the far left and Hayden is in the middle.

It was a stupendous, and I witnessed more than one of my cohorts trying out some *ahem* "dazzling" dance moves. ;) They're a fun lot to be around. :)
